Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

在比賽的路途中，我們出了一點小插曲：當上了城西干道高架橋時，城西干道上竟然堵車了，車子一動不動，就像一件擺設。我看了一下表，猛地一驚，已經3:45分了，在這樣堵下去，我就要遲到了。這可怎么辦？我焦急萬分。我想到了愛情公寓這部電視劇里的場景，主人公曾小賢被堵在中環路上進退兩難，我現在也是這樣，最后，我們終于慢慢的移動到了堵車的源頭，終于又走上了好走的`路。
·到了考試地點致遠外國語小學了，此時，我的心非常的緊張。雖然我已經會背了我的演講稿，也會唱那一首歌，可是我還是覺得很緊張。這時，老師喊到了我，我平復自己的心情，和媽媽一起走進了考場。在考試中，我雖然有些緊張，但努力的大聲演講，我認為講的非常的不錯。可是在最后的時候出了點意外，在老師說："thank you."的時候，我給老師鞠了一躬，就慌慌忙忙的走出了考場，老媽對我說，你也應該講一下thank you，我覺得這是我的一個失誤。
我現在對自己很有信心，我相信，我一定會考好的。你們說呢？

星期天我去英語班學完英語回到家，打開英語CD碟開始復習當天學習的內容，奶奶從廚房走出來看見我那認認真真學習的樣子，高興地對我說：“你真是個好孩子，這么用功，孫女呀，我也想學英語，可不可以教我呀？”我一聽，心想：新鮮啊！奶奶六十多歲了，還要學英語，我簡直不敢相信自己的耳朵了，可是看見奶奶那認真的樣子，我不得不相信這是真的。就對奶奶說：“可以，我來教您”。
我想應該先從26個英文字母開始教，就找出來一些白色卡片，做了26個英文字母卡，就開始一個一個的教給奶奶發音，奶奶一遍一遍地努力學習。從學習發音到自然拼讀，又教給奶奶如何默寫單詞，奶奶學的可認真了。
經過我的耐心指導和奶奶的.努力學習，終于奶奶得到了很大的收獲，學會了很多英語單詞和句子。是的，也流下了不少學習的汗水，真所謂：一分耕耘，一分收獲。自從奶奶開始學習英語，家里增添了不少歡聲笑語。
