It is believed in common that beauty exists everywhere on the campus as long as you have an eye for it. Some people hold that natural scenes, especially at dawn, are the most beautiful on the campus while others believe that it is in the afternoon when the playgrounds are flooded with students taking part in sports.In my opinion, the best scene on the campus is during the rush hour when thousands of students rush towards the canteen.
At precisely the same time as the bell rings, some students dash from the chairs, rushing to the canteen. They set the prelude to the most attractive scene of the whole day.
Within a few minutes, all the classrooms become empty and everyone starts their journey for lunch, on foot or by bike. It gives people the impression that lunch is the most important thing in the world. Most of the students move at the same speed,with the exception of several excellent cyclists. They shuttle smoothly in the crowds just like fish swimming freely in the sea.

Well, traveling is good, too. I’ve been to many cities. I think I am just like a modern “Xu Xiake”. It opens up my eyes to the outside world, and makes me feel many different customs.
In 20xx, at the age of ten, I went to Beijing to take part in a chorus competition by myself. It was my first time to travel without my parents. At first I felt very excited. I had a very heavy bag, and I had to carry it on my back. Then on the train, I couldn’t go to sleep. I missed my home and my parents, and my tears rolled down my face. In Beijing, I visited a lot of places of interest. In my opinion, Beijing, the capital of China, is a mixture of modern civilization and ancient civilization. In Beijing Science Museum, I got a lot of knowledge. Also, I got a lot from other activities.
Life may be sour, sweet, bitter or hot. It gives us different feelings. Life is like a poem, which gives us taste; life is as beautiful as songs; life is also like paintings, and it is very colorful!

You may start as an outsider and end as an expert.
People take up hobbies because these activities offer knowledge and relaxation. Turning dull moments into delightful ones, hobbies can let out emotions, reduce tension. By slipping into a fantasy world hobbyists avoid troubles around them. Therefore, they usually keep a healthy mind and a sunny character. In a sense a hobby is more like a special lifetime companion. Hobbies paint daily life colourful.
